                                                     A little bit about me

Here I am parked up just before the Mont Blanc tunnel in 2006 as I was heading somewhere exotic, possibly enroute to Ancona for a Superfast crossing to Patras.

Truck reg is S100 FBN, my trusty old steed, served me well and only ever let me down on my first day in her, thankfully I was in Park Royal London, parked her up outside Negative Earth and went to the pub round the corner for the night.

Nowadays I'm more likely to be leaning against someone else's truck and chatting about all things truck related.

As with so many other things in life, I wish I knew then what I know now, I'd have had my camera clicking like a little cricket on heat!

Oh the sights I have seen, and never got to photograph them, still you can't change the past, and I hope to see most of those places again someday allbeit not driving rock n roll!

I've always collected truck photos, with my favourite period being the 1980's I suppose as thats when I took most notice and some of it made sense.

My earliest memories are my late father runing me around a yard inn Dumfries on the engine hump of an AEC Mercury, Leyland Beaver or GUY BIG J........ I normally landed in the passenger footwell when he cornered sharp!
